ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Jonathan Beagle’s 19 points helped Albany defeat Sacred Heart 93-79 on Tuesday night.
Beagle also added 11 rebounds for the Great Danes (7-5). Amar’e Marshall added 18 points while going 6 of 15 from the floor, including 3 for 6 from 3-point range, and 3 for 3 from the line, and he also had eight rebounds and three steals. Sebastian Thomas was 5 of 10 shooting, including 2 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 5 for 8 from the line to finish with 17 points.
Alex Sobel led the Pioneers (4-9) in scoring, finishing with 23 points and four assists. Aidan Carpenter added 16 points and four assists for Sacred Heart. In addition, Kyle McGee had 12 points, seven rebounds and two steals. The loss is the seventh in a row for the Pioneers.
