DON’T MISS
Ally McBeal (Seasons 1-5)
Anyone who knows me, knows that I absolutely loved “Ally McBeal” during the show’s original run from 1997 to 2002. The legal comedy starring Calista Flockhart was undoubtedly David E. Kelley’s best work. The CGI baby dancing to ‘Ooga Chucka’ or ‘Hooked On A Feeling’ for those of us who remember the reference was groundbreaking at the time. The show featured witty writing, snappy dialogue, and hilarious characters. I liked the show so much that when I was asked to write a college entrance essay on the person I’d most like to interview living or dead, I actually and unbelievably chose the fictional Ally. Needless to say, I didn’t get into that school. In any event, for anyone who hasn’t seen it before or for those of us who want to relive our youth all over again, all five seasons of the series will be available to stream on Disney Plus on Wednesday.
