Hip-hop superstar and Toronto’s hometown hero Drake will return to the city for two shows this fall.

The Grammy Award-winning artist announced Monday he will perform at Scotiabank Arena on Oct. 5 and 7 as part of his highly anticipated “It’s All a Blur” tour with British-born rapper 21 Savage.

Toronto is the final stop on the North American tour, which launches in Memphis on June 29 and includes engagements in Montreal, Vancouver and New York City.

Dates for the tour were initially revealed last month. While Toronto was on the list, it was the only city at the time with details yet to be announced.

The Monday press release, issued by Live Nation, confirmed the Canadian rapper’s Toronto dates while also announcing the concerts in New Orleans, Nashville, Houston, Dallas, Miami and Atlanta, originally scheduled for June and July, will be delayed until September and October.

“It’s All a Blur” marks Drake’s first tour since 2018, when he headlined “Aubrey & the Three Migos.”

Drake, born Aubrey Drake Graham, has released four albums since his last tour. His most recent studio album, “Her Loss,” a collaboration with 21 Savage, topped Billboard’s 200 chart.

The “Degrassi” star last performed in Toronto earlier this month, making a surprise opening for American rapper Lil Wayne at History.

Tickets for Drake’s two shows at Scotiabank Arena go on sale this Friday, following presales beginning Thursday.
