Eastern Michigan wins 68-53 against Lake Superior State

YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) — Tyson Acuff had 24 points in Eastern Michigan’s 68-53 win over Lake Superior State on Friday night.

Acuff shot 10 for 20, including 2 for 6 from beyond the arc for the Eagles (5-3). Yusuf Jihad scored 12 points and added eight rebounds. Jalin Billingsley went 4 of 6 from the field to finish with 11 points.

The Lakers were led in scoring by Xander Okerlund, who finished with 11 points. Devin Womack added 10 points and four assists for Lake Superior State. In addition, Blake Cassidy finished with nine points.

Eastern Michigan hosts Oakland in its next matchup on Dec. 8.
