There’s plenty of exciting new mechanics and features to get to know with the new Green Hell Animal Husbandry update, starting with one of the most game-(or even life?)-changing experiences: finally, you can pet the capybara!

Green hell animal pen

To start your adventure with building a jungle farm you just need to pick up a Long Bamboo Stick, which will make a new recipe appear – the Blowpipe. As you craft Poison Darts, a recipe that I’ll let you discover for yourself, you’ll be able to capture capybaras, tapirs and peccaries, and put them in your own Animal Pen where you can tame them and harvest. But don’t get me wrong – we’re still in the Green Hell, so it won’t be so idyllic, at least not in the beginning!

Animal Husbandry will let you harvest the liquid gold of the jungle, something that will help Jake to (finally) sweeten up his life a bit: honey. One of the new constructions provided in the update is a Beehive – after you move a Queen Bee from a wild beehive to your own, you’ll be able to harvest honey. It could be risky to approach a wild beehive without a beekeeping suit – which is hard to get in the middle of the Amazonian Jungle! Try out our tip instead: scare the angry bees away with the smoke from a burning torch!

There’s one more slight addition that will let you enjoy farmer life a bit more: you can name your tamed pets and all of the flora in game!

Hope that you’ll enjoy setting up your very own jungle farm with this free Green Hell Animal Husbandry update today!

GREEN HELL is an Open World Survival Simulator set in the uncharted unique setting of the Amazonian rainforest.

You are left alone in the jungle without any food or equipment, trying to survive and find your way out. Clinging to life, the player is set on a journey of durability as the effects of solitude wear heavy not only on the body but also the mind. How long can you survive against the dangers of the unknown?

On this journey, you won’t get any help from the outside world. Equipped only with your bare hands you’ll have to learn actual survival techniques to build shelters, make tools, and craft weapons in order to hunt and defend yourself. Constantly threatened by the jungle you’ll fight with both wild animals and tropical sicknesses. Players will also have to face the traps set by your own mind and fears that crawl in the darkness of the endless jungle.
