BTS fans are going to pieces over a new Lego announcement.
The toy company is teasing a brand-new set that appears to feature Lego versions of the seven members of one of the most popular bands in history.
The Lego set of the South Korean band featuring Jung Kook, V, Jimin, Suga, Jin, J-Hope, and RM is expected to drop on Feb. 15 just before midnight, according to the toy company’s website, teasing that the “LEGO® Ideas BTS Dynamite” is coming soon.
It was also retweeted by the Hybe Merch Twitter account. Hybe Corp. is the parent company of Big Hit Entertainment, BTS’ management agency.
The Lego announcement comes a day before band member Suga released U.S. dates for his upcoming tour. It’s the first solo tour by a BTS member since the group announced a hiatus as individual members work on completing their mandatory military service and focus on solo projects.
Suga’s tour will kick off with two shows in Long Island, New York on April 26 and 27, then continue on to play in New Jersey, Illinois, and Los Angeles before wrapping up the U.S. leg in Oakland in May.
The general public will be able to purchase tickets on March 3 at 3 p.m. local time, but BTS Army members will have first dibs during a fan presale on March 1.
Lego has featured a slew of collaborations with major brands over the years, from Ikea to Adidas to Levi’s to the set of popular TV series “Friends.”
Last summer, fans flocked to the Eaton Centre for a wildly successful pop-up shop. Hundreds camped out overnight inside the mall, sleeping on floors, so they could score early entry into the store that sold BTS merch.
