With so many different streaming platforms and cable offerings to navigate, choosing what to watch has never been harder. To make things easier, here are our best tune-in tips for the week ahead.

TUESDAY

Perfect Match

The pick of the week is this new dating series, which brings together the most famous single stars from all of Netflix’s unscripted series, including “Love Is Blind,” “The Ultimatum,” “To Hot to Handle,” “The Circle,” “Twentysomethings: Austin” and even “The Mole.” It’s a true dream cast for anyone who has watched any of these shows. Whoever thought we would see Shayne Jansen from “Love Is Blind” again or watch as first “The Circle” winner Joey Sasso tries to find love? Keep an eye out for Toronto’s Dom Gabriel (“The Mole”) and Ottawa’s Francesca Farago (“Too Hot to Handle”) who get a lot of screen time.

WEDNESDAY

The Masked Singer

While I still have a hard time believing that “Survivor” is about to enter its 44th season, it’s even harder to believe that “The Masked Singer” launches its ninth edition on Wednesday. Nick Cannon returns as the host, and Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke as judges. Which C-listers will be under the veils of secrecy this season?

THURSDAY

Canada’s Ultimate Challenge

It’s always nice to see original Canadian reality programming and CBC delivers with this new competition series it describes as a “cross-country obstacle course.” Everyday Canadians are divided into teams to compete in site-specific challenges. The best part is that the squads are coached by a veritable who’s who in Canadian athletics, including Olympians Donovan Bailey, Waneek Horn-Miller, Clara Hughes, Gilmore Junio, Jen Kish and Canadian Super Bowl champion Luke Willson.

For those unfamiliar, Philby was the most notorious Soviet double agent in history after defecting from the British during the Cold War. The compelling new series examines what prompted Philby’s decision while exploring themes of duplicity, trust and treachery.

This Crave original series is based on the “Thunder Bay” podcast from Canadaland. It’s produced and hosted by Anishinaabe journalist Ryan McMahon, who’s on a mission to uncover the truth about the deaths of numerous Indigenous people in Thunder Bay, Ont. The show points to the failures of Thunder Bay’s police department while taking a focused approach to Canada’s relationship with colonialism.

Crave has secured the streaming rights to this fascinating film that stars recent EGOT winner Viola Davis as General Nanisca, leader of the Agojie, an all-female unit of warriors assigned to protect the African kingdom of Dahomey. Davis secured a Golden Globe nomination for the role, but was snubbed by the Academy Awards.

It’s hard to see Milo Ventimiglia as anything other than the best TV dad ever after his stint as Jack Pearson on “This Is Us,” but in his first project since that critically acclaimed drama, he plays Charlie, a con man who unknowingly hooks up with undercover CIA officer Emma (Catherine Haena Kim). The star-crossed lovers are on a collision course when they figure out who the other one really is. “The Company You Keep” is based on Korean series “My Fellow Citizens!”
