Hello, Exofighters! Here’s the latest dinosaur forecast: massive dinosaur outbreaks have once again engulfed the globe, threatening humanity’s very existence. From Friday, June 16 to Sunday, June 18 (UTC), you’re invited to suit up and join Capcom during its second Open Beta Test for Exoprimal.
The prior Open Beta Test focused on testing cross-platform matchmaking. For this round of wargames, you will get a first look at the opening parts of Exoprimal’s narrative, as well as fight for survival in story-related missions, 10-player co-op battles, and the intense action that awaits in the game’s main mode, Dino Survival. We’ve made some adjustments based on your feedback and hope to see you on the battlefield.
If you respond to a short survey after playing in this Open Beta Test, you’ll be eligible to receive a “Flash” exosuit skin for Zephyr as a special bonus item that can be used in the full game. This item is different than what was offered during the first Open Beta Test, so be sure to take down some dinosaurs, share your feedback, and redeem your reward!
Check out the Exoprimal official website for more information on the second Open Beta Test.
We also just revealed a ton of exciting new information during today’s Xbox Games Showcase: Extended event:
“Challenge Module, Online!” in Savage Gauntlet
In Savage Gauntlet, teams of five players will take on special PvE missions that rotate weekly. Squads around the world will meet the same enemies, stages, and objectives as they vie for the fastest completion times and top ranks of the global leaderboards.
Savage Gauntlet missions are late-game content that will offer a higher level of challenge. For example, Exofighters may find themselves face-to-face with several larger dinosaurs at once. Bringing leveled-up exosuits into these combat tests and equipping Modules will improve your chances of survival and success. Rally your friends, build strategies, and see if you have what it takes to come out on top.
Once missions conclude, squads receive a rank such as “A” or “B” based on how quickly and skillfully they complete objectives. Exofighters who achieve higher ranks can get their hands on exciting rewards. Missions are replayable, and you’re welcome to return with new strategies as you aim for a faster completion time.
Variant Exosuits
Variant exosuits feature distinct combat styles and equip unique weapons that differ from default exosuit models. These suits offer an even wider array of combat options to overcome the challenges presented in Leviathan’s ever-changing wargames. Consider incorporating them into your team as you fight for survival.
For example, Deadeye comes equipped with an assault rifle. The Deadeye Alpha: Burst Fire variant suit wields a versatile weapon with both shotgun and burst fire capabilities, allowing you to unleash a range of both short- and long-distance attacks based on proximity to enemy threats.
Variant suits will be added to Exoprimal in a post-launch title update — check out the video below for a preview of what these variant suits have to offer.
New content will be added to Exoprimal with each in-game season. This includes Exoprimal’s first Capcom collaboration, featuring special crossover contents from Street Fighter 6 that will be available in Fall 2023. We have some exciting things in store for this collaboration, including exosuit skins that transform players into Ryu and Guile, as well as Ryu’s iconic hadoken as an emote.
After launch, Exofighters can look forward to the addition of variant exosuits, new missions, stages, and a variety of other contents in free post-launch title updates. We plan to share the game’s roadmap at a later date, so stay tuned to see what else is on the way.
We look forward to seeing you all on the battlefield in the upcoming second Open Beta Test, as well as your stories of victory in Leviathan’s wargames when Exoprimal releases on July 14. In the meantime, follow Exoprimal on Twitter and like us on Facebook for the latest Exoprimal news. Thanks, Exofighters!

CAPCOM CO., LTD.
Exosuits are grouped into different roles, and players will pilot these exosuits to hold firm against overwhelming dinosaur swarms in online-only, team-based action game modes.
Dino Survival, the main game mode, sees two teams of five players compete in a variety of PvE and PvP missions.
Players will be transported to the scene of the latest dinosaur outbreak and follow Leviathan’s guidance to complete objectives. The team that completes the mission first will emerge victorious.
Whether players are engaging the other team directly, or fighting alongside them against a common enemy, the aim is to accomplish objectives as quickly as possible. Missions vary depending on player skill and other factors, meaning no two matches will unfold the same way.
