OSHAWA, Ont. – Luke Torrance’s goal at 8:16 of the third period snapped a 4-4 deadlock and lifted the Oshawa Generals to a 5-4 win over the visiting Barrie Colts in Ontario Hockey League playoff action on Sunday at Tribute Communities Centre.

Matthew Buckley, with two power-play goals, Beckett Sennecke and Dylan Roobroeck also scored for the Generals, who tied their first round, best-of-seven series at 1-1. Calum Ritchie and Luca D’Amato each had two assists.

The Colts won the series opener on Friday 4-2.

Riley Patterson scored twice for the Colts, while Beau Jelsma and Bode Stewart added singles. Cole Beaudoin and Kashawn Aitcheson each chipped in with two assists.
