Poulakidas has 19 as Yale takes down Princeton 87-65

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — John Poulakidas had 19 points in Yale’s 87-65 victory over Princeton on Saturday night.

Poulakidas was 7 of 13 shooting (5 for 6 from distance) for the Bulldogs (14-6, 4-3 Ivy League). August Mahoney scored 15 points while going 5 of 8 (3 for 4 from distance). Matt Knowling recorded 12 points and finished 6 of 10 from the floor.

Tosan Evbuomwan finished with 15 points, six assists and two blocks for the Tigers (14-6, 5-2). Blake Peters added 15 points for Princeton. In addition, Ryan Langborg had 10 points.

NEXT UP

Both teams next play Friday. Yale visits Harvard while Princeton hosts Cornell.
