WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) — Josh Scovens scored 11 points as Army beat Maritime 74-39 on Friday night.
Scovens added eight rebounds for the Black Knights (1-7). Ryan Curry scored nine points, going 3 of 5 (2 for 4 from 3-point range). Abe Johnson shot 4 of 5 from the field to finish with eight points.
The Privateers were led in scoring by Evan Block, who finished with eight points and three steals. Theo Noble added eight points for Maritime. Chris Zaveckas also put up six points.
Army hosts Le Moyne in its next matchup on Tuesday.
