The Toronto Fringe Festival is back for its 35th edition with more than 100 productions running at venues across Toronto from July 5 to 12.
This year’s festival boasts a smorgasbord of offerings, from sketch comedy and new musicals to solo shows and dance productions.
Before the curtain rose, Toronto Star theatre critics Joshua Chong, Karen Fricker and Glenn Sumi shared what they were most excited to see.
The Star will have comprehensive coverage of the festival, including reviews of more than three dozen productions.
