TOWSON, Md. (AP) — Nendah Tarke had 18 points in Towson’s 70-67 victory over Drexel on Thursday night.
Tarke added five rebounds for the Tigers (12-8, 5-2 Coastal Athletic Association). Christian May scored 15 points while shooting 4 for 9 (2 for 4 from 3-point range) and 5 of 7 from the free throw line, and added 10 rebounds. Charles Thompson was 5 of 9 shooting and 2 of 4 from the free throw line to finish with 12 points.
The Dragons (14-7, 7-1) were led by Justin Moore, who recorded 17 points and five assists. Drexel also got 14 points, 11 rebounds, two steals and two blocks from Amari Williams. In addition, Kobe Magee had 12 points. The Dragons ended a seven-game winning streak with the loss.
Towson went into halftime leading Drexel 32-28. May scored eight points in the half. Tarke led Towson with 11 points in the second half.
