We also saw more from the recently released retro shooter, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun with Rahul Kohli talking about his role in the game and how he came to be involved. These come in preset colour schemes, including an Xbox Wireless Controller in Ultramarines blue and a Sternguard Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 in white and blue.
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader was back this year, showing off a new trailer with brand new locations and enemies, a reveal of a new companion – the Space Wolf, Ulfar – a taste of void battles, and finally a brief glimpse into the nefarious machinations of Chaos and its role within the narrative! Skulls also included trailers for Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector, which showcased and dropped the brand new Orks DLC, available now; Warhammer: Vermintide 2 from Fatshark, revealing new Karak Azgaraz levels and teasing Sienna’s new career; the reveal of the free Lizardmen team coming to Blood Bowl 3 as part of the Season 1 launch in June; and new hats and leaderboards arrived for Warhammer 40,000: Shootas Blood & Teeth.
Warhammer on Game Pass News
Total War: Warhammer III celebrated 40 years of Warhammer by announcing and releasing legendary hero Harald Hammerstorm into the game with patch 3.1 – Harald is the very same character who graced the cover of the first ever Warhammer box set in 1983. Also in this update, the Chaos Dwarfs end-game is added for Immortal Empires.
The huge Rejects Unite content drop was also unveiled for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, which introduces two new missions – Archivum Sycorax and Ascension Riser 31 (part of the first community event) – earnable cosmetics, inventory view improvements, and, excitingly, a new enemy, the Chaos Spawn! All this plus community events and challenges.
Warhammer in Other Games
Powerwash Simulator announced its brand new collaboration with Games Workshop bringing the grim dark and apparently dirty universe of Warhammer 40,000 into the squeaky-clean world of simulated washing – coming soon to the game on Xbox.
Additionally, World of Tanks: Modern Armor showed off its celebration of Warhammer 40,000 with the recently released Leman Russ tank and Warhammer 40,000 commanders.
By the Emperor, that was a lot of Warhammer goodness! And that’s just some of the highlights of the new awesome Warhammer content showcased and coming soon.
